This policy explains how Quen handles information on its website and in salon services. Salon owners are responsible for the customer information they collect through their salon. Quen provides the tools and processes that information to operate the service.
Information we collect
Demo inquiries include your name, salon, city, phone number, preferred language, optional email and message. Salon accounts may contain contact details, settings and account information. Salon customer records may include names, phone numbers, appointments, selected services, visits, VIP choices, rewards, consent records and staff notes or photos. We also receive technical information such as IP address, browser details and security logs. Do not upload payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information.
How we use information
We use information to respond to requests, provide salon check-in and booking tools, manage queues and rewards, maintain customer history, support accounts and protect the service. We use demo-request contact details to arrange the requested demonstration. Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to promotional messages.
Who can access information
Authorized salon owners and staff can access information according to their account permissions. Customer-facing screens do not display internal notes or staff earnings. The salon controls its staff accounts and is responsible for safeguarding devices and information exported from the service.
Service providers and disclosures
We use service providers for hosting, infrastructure, email delivery and, when enabled, messaging. Demo requests are sent through FormSubmit to our inquiry inbox. Providers may process information as needed to supply those services. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or investigate misuse, or as part of a business transaction subject to applicable protections.
Mobile information and text-message consent
Mobile numbers and text-message opt-in data and consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process this information only as necessary to provide the messaging service. Promotional consent is separate from VIP membership and is specific to the salon identified when you opt in.
Sale and unrelated marketing
We do not sell personal information or share it for another company’s marketing. No such use is planned. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any notice, choices or consent required by applicable law. The mobile-information and SMS-consent restrictions above continue to apply.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies or similar browser storage to maintain sign-in, remember preferences and operate the service. You can manage browser storage through your browser, but blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or disrupt service. We do not use this policy as consent for advertising trackers.
Retention and your choices
We retain information for service operation, customer support, security and applicable legal needs, and remove it when no longer needed. Salon financial-retention settings may erase past monetary amounts while preserving customer and service history. Contact your salon for requests concerning its customer records, or contact Quen for website inquiries and account questions. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your information. We may need to verify your identity. Previously exported copies are controlled by their recipients.
Security, children and changes
We use reasonable safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security. The website and business accounts are intended for adults, and we do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13 through the website. Parents or guardians can contact us about a child’s information. We may update this policy and will publish the revised date and any additional notice required by law.
